Wii Controller Battery (2-Pack) I highly recommend these batters and chargers. You get 2 batters with charger cables for 20 bucks and they are lithium ion so they weigh almost nothing, I can barely notice a weight difference between them and just the regular plastic covers. They also have a huge charge life, I've heard 10-12 hours straight on a single charge, I can't give my charge life cause we are still playing on the initial out of the box charge!! They charge off a USB cable you can either plug into your wii or computer while its on, or invest in a ac USB adapter so you can just plug them in the wall.
We have one set of these and have played a couple times on them still on the initial charge out of the box. We are definitely ordering a second set of these if not 2 for super long Wii parties!

Here's my pluses summed up for these:
1) Lithium Ion (this is the latest and the future for batteries)
2) Very lightweight
3) Long playtime on a single charge
4) Can be recharge anytime, as opposed to other batteries which should be fully drained before recharging or it slowly kills the battery
5) Can be charged while on the remote or by itself( so you can still be playing with another battery

Cons:
1) If you like sleeves on your remotes, you can't get to the plug to charge it (my simple solution, cut a small hole in the sleeve giving you access to the charging plug)
2) Charging cord is USB meaning plug it into your computer or Wii while its turned on or my solution is buy a AC USB adapter so you can plug them into the wall, heres some adapters on amazon
White USB Wall AC Charger for Zune/Sansa/Zen/iPodfor single
orLenmar ACUSB4 AC Travel Adapter for up to 4 USB Powered Devices (Black)plug in all 4 remotes at once

I hope that helps your decision on these. We have a diferent set of batteries with a charger stand, and the batteries don't last long at all, you have to take the wrist straps off even just to get them to sit in to charge.

We HIGHLY recommend these, a must have for your Wii!
GREAT BATTERIES, GREAT PRICE!

Charges quickly in less than 4 hours. Lithium polymer makes it convenient to charge whenever you want without need to drain battery first (as with NiMH batteries). Lasts longer than 10 hours on one charge. No problems with remotes or wireless connection. Only two hassles - which are small in comparison to other rechargeable batteries out there - console needs to be on (it doesn't charge in standby as it says) and you have to remove the skin to recharge. Still, for the price and in comparison to other products, I think this is the best out there, and definitely better than NiMH ones I've tried.
The chargers, they work.

Reviewer: Mee Cha,
I had to rate this as a "fun game" so I was confused. Oh well.

Overall I am happy with the product. I got them for my boyfriend because we play Pokemon Rumble a lot (recently, haha) and it seems to have lasted more than 8hrs for the first full charge. The Wii can recharge it while on stand-by, which is perfect. It's easy to install, fits like the standard battery pack, and has a hole for the "sync" button for the controller, which is EXCELLENT! I disliked removing the battery back to resync with the Wii whenever there were problems.

We also dont have to worry about space for docks and what not. The USB cables can be rolled up and tucked away after a charge. The fact that they are USB means we can also charge it with our computers if we decide for some reason we want to sit next to charging wiimotes.
Wii controller Battery 2pack works great!

Reviewer: Amazon Shopper Mom,
We got these as additional rechargeable batteries. We like them because they do not have to be in the wii remote to recharge (they plug into the back of the wii with the cord provided). I also like that there is not an additional charging station to take up room and look tacky. They save the day when our family wants to all play and find two of our remotes are dead because someone did not recharge them after many days of playing (we all use the Wii during the day either to work out or play games). There has not been any problems with them and seem to be working great (just got them for Christmas). I am thinking of getting two more just as backup (good product for the price too).
better than buying batteries all the time

love this wii controller battery since it plugs into the wii directly no battery necessary and it beats the standing recharger that we found out is not produced by nintendo and fries the remotes.
